Birthday Celebration

My birthday is Christmas Day!  As a child living at home with my parents and brother and sister we woikd celebrate Christmas in the morning. Then arounf 1 or 2 pm Christmas would stop and my birthday celebration would start.  Now that I have kids I realize how difficult that probably was on my mom and dad and siblings.   Now my husband always tries to give me my own day and we usually celebrate a day or early.  This year we celebrated a week in advance with friends.  It was a great day.  Friends, pizza, cake & doesn't get any better.

Me and my hubby Shawn.

Me & my awesome ice cream cake

Hubby knows I want to get back to eating healthier. So he got me my ninja Blender!

So excited to make some cards with my new stamps, a sweater with my new yarn and love my kitchen stuff.

Yes...he got me a scale and I love it.  It is all fancy smancy. It has Bluetooth and can link to my app on my phone. Isn't that CRAZY?  I am one lucky girl.

Happy Birthday

Hello all!  I have finally worked on another card.  This is MojoMonday435.  This is a birthday card for my niece.  Got to play with my new Pattern paper from Stampin up.  It is Bohemian paper pack.  I used the Stamp set HappyBDay2You from The Stamps of Life for the cupcake and the sentiment was from Be Happy Sentiments from Amy R. Stamps.

These are the socks I hand knit for my niece.  My mother in law asked me to make them for her so I did and they are going out in the mail today.
I made a little handmade by tag to put on them.  On the back are the instructions on how to care for the hand-knitted socks so that hopefully they last along time.
Hope she likes them!

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday card for the MojoMonday#432 card sketch.  I am a little behind this week as not feeling well, but thought I better get this card posted.  I got some new Pattern paper from Stampin up called Wildflower Fields.  So I had to open it up!  The stamps I used are by The Stamps of Life, Thanks2You and Happy2becircles.

Snow, snow and more snow & Paper Crafting

We got some snow last night.  But I don't think it is anywhere near what we are suppose to get.  The hubster was out for several hours plowing the driveway and shoveling so that we could get down the driveway.  Of course it would help if the Gravel road we live on gets plowed.  That could be a few days before the state or the farmer up the road who the state has contracted with to plow gets to it.  For now the kids have no school. the hubster has no work  and we are all staying in the house.

We shall see what tonight and tomorrow night bring, because it is now snowing again.

But with that being said at least I got to get some paper crafting done again today. I organized my cards to see what need to make more of and I made a card for Viva La Verve sketch.

I made this with Craft and Cream cardstock.  The stamp sets are from Stampin Up.  I used Summer Sillhouettes and label Love.  This card is going in the mail  with a gift I knit.  Hopefully, I will get to the post office at the beginning of the week.  We shall see what the snow allows.

For You

Wow, again I can't believe I have not been blogging.  Life has just been busy and I have not been paper crafting lately!  We have been in our new house now for about 14 months and are loving it!  We have 20 acres.  Loving it!

My hubby and I just finished setting up and reorganizing my craft room. I now have space to work with my new desk/hutch.
I am also getting my stamp sets organized so the they are easily accessible.  I was finding it frustrating not knowing what I had and not being able to find them.  FOr the most part they are all now in either DVD cases or CD cases on my new stamps shelf that hubby bought me for Christmas.
After all that I am finally getting do do some paper crafting.  I am not longer frustrated looking for stuff and wondering where it is and not having enough space. YEAH!  I will say that most of it was done while I was on vacation. My hubster got the shelf up and my desk bought and put together!  He ROCKS!

Okay now on to my paper crafting for today.
I played along with the MojoMonday431

And here is my take on her lovely sketch!

I used a couple different stamps sets along with pattern paper and cardstock.
I used 2 different stamp sets by VERVE. I used Abundant Blessings and Bloom&Grow.  I also used Stampin Up Great Friends Stamp set.  The patter paper is from Close To My Heart, Stella.  The base is on Crumb Cake cardstock also by Stampin Up

As you can see I like a lot of different companies products.  I don't ever use just one!  But that is okay!  I love paper crafting supplies and well, buy what I like!
